Your last year of lifting
I was just curious to see how much progress everyone has made in the last year as far as muscle gain. Not necessarily guys that just started up and put on the initial gains, but those of you that have been working out for some time. I have been busting my a$$ and spending way too much money on protein and crap and managed to put on 12lbs of muscle. This seems kinda low to me, just wanted to know how others were doing. Oh I dident specify, this goes for guys that dident use gear of any kind.

I've made decent progress. Nothing I'm disappointed about. A injury was a major setback towards the end, but I'm back on track now.
Steady as she goes.

Last year, when we had our first max day in weight-lifting, I got 160 pounds on the bench-press, which isnt bad for a freshmen in high-school. Now, my current bench max is 275. Its went up like 100 pounds since last year. haha.

I was talking about increase in muscle weight over the last year, not how much your bench went up.

Man good job, if you have been lifting for awhile 12 pounds of lean muscle in one year is good results.

I added about 12lbs as well. Not a whole lot considering it was over a year, but it's still better than a dreamer bulk. Plus I'm leaner than I was this time last year.
I thought within a year I would be jacked as hell 200+, 8% bf, but I was pretty naive to think that, haha.

nice gains there. Looking at it closer, 12lbs a year every year would start to add up eventually. Just seems kinda low in comparison to threads I read about adding that much muscle in a month with just some havoc or something.
