core workout

I need specifically a core workout for baseball, tonight I did all sorts or planks and bridges, and russian twists

what else could I do?

If I buy unbreakable abs, can I do it during the season and still benefit the results?

Get your self a swizz ball and then you can do an ubelieveable amount of core work outs.

i got back in to core work outs today, i managed to stand on top of the ball and do squats and that felt liek a whole body work out in its self. with all the shaking...

Anyway back to the subject.. swizz ball or a bouson ball (half a swizz ball but these are about ?60 or $100). With the swizz ball just sitting on it and lifting both feet up and keeping a straigh back. This is one of the first but basic exercises to do on a ball and then they develope.

Doing planks and press ups on the ball and then when you go back to normal press ups and planks they will be so much easier.

Will

When I played ball, I found axe chops helped me with alot of my hip strength.
Also try lunges with medicine ball and add twist.

Unbreakable Abs if awesome bro, it will benefit you anytime of the year. Just to give you a little somethin somethin, i had mid 70's bat speed in octobaer 2007, and now nearly 4 months later im up to mid 90's.

Just work hard till season and you will see some benefits.

should I wait and get the $97 version of Unbreakable abs, or the 47 is enough?

Here are ones we use with all of the professional ballplayers; cable rope chops/lifts, med ball chops, med ball half-squat chest passes, russian twists, stability-ball crunches, birddogs, supermans....

There are many more but that's a good start, you already mentioned planks so I didn't even bother to include those. Each of those can be done with minimal equipment that should be readily available at any commercial or school gym.
