I was planning on making some homemade shakes but thought they were gonna taste crappy :/ .. finally got around to make one
After mixing:
1 cup soy milk
1 raw whole egg
2 egg whites
some blueberries
organic banana
tsp. honey
Well I was expecting this to taste absolutely horrible, in which case i was going to make them anyway when i hit the gym hard. Haha, ill do whatever if its good for me but man, this tastes AMAZING!!! I loved it, give it a shot!
- When would be an ideal time in the day for me to drink this, or is it fine whenever?
- are there any shaker bottles out there that are strong enough that i can mix this stuff without a blender, or do those things only work for like powders/liquid?
and one more question!
- I know our bodies are meant to have whole foods and people say that shakes are fine but not all the time, ie get your regular food too..
well, it started off as whole food, but does this really refer to the "shakes" people talk about or do they mean supplements. What I really mean is Im still eating whole foods, theyre just digested a little quicker because it semi liquid, right??
