At the moment being single/semi bf i like my freedom. Not that i go around sleeping with everyone but the freedom to do so when the opportunity arise, good place, good attraction, good timing then hell yeah. Oh that is what i meant when i say sleep around. Not purposely go out to find sex but to just feel free to do so when the opportunity is there and i wouldn't suggest this if you have low standard haha.
However that being said, when i'm older and feel like settling down i would totally see myself in a Monogamy relationship.
|
Totally agree. A relationship, not matter how open, will never equal the freedom to sleep with someone you're attracted to when the opportunity arises. I will have to admit that I am the kind who, if not in a loving relationship, would purposely go out looking for sex (mostly when the chemical balance of the bain has been artificially altered with recreational drugs). I am glad to give up all of that extra sex and share my life with such an amazing man that fills my everyday with unmeasurable joy. However, totally neglecting the Whorey McSlutterson in me would simply be supressing part of myself. It would be going against my natural being, and so I find a balance and engage in extra-marital sex with my partner's consent once every blue moon. Mostly, however, we will include a third party, a toy if you will, into our sex life also once every few months. It makes us feel like we're having the best of both worlds. Keeps things fresh...

My partner has that issue too. Personally, i'm kind of tunnel visioned in my focus when working out, and hardly even notice people around me. Think it may be somewhat due to 6 years in the Navy on submarines, and 10 years working offshore on oil drilling rigs.. So many years being in close confines near attractive men, it just isn't that big a thing anymore.

Agree with that, or perhaps it's an age thing as well as becoming bigger one's self.
But today I saw a pretty big guy in a navy singlet and shorts with a great tan standing on the train surrounded by regular people fully dressed going to work. He got off at the Domestic Airport station so one figures he may have been meeting someone arriving from interstate.
Firstly he looked completely out of place and secondly, kind of odd.
Years ago I'd have an instant boner and be salivating but today I just looked at him and thought 'meh, save the skimpy clothes for the gym or beach'
I think once you've been in the company of many hot/huge guys you become desensitized and it's no longer a novelty.
That and the fact that you see guys who USED to look juiced to the rafters say 5 years ago and now they've slowed down a bit and are smaller and cannot defy Mother Nature. And you think "Ahhh you're looking almost normal/human now"

Guess I'm not big enough myself cos I still notice them.
BUT what changed is that I no longer salivate at just any big guys. Especially not those who just workout their upper body.

More than likely, you're just too young to settle down right now. At your age, you are still evolving quite a bit. Date, have fun, and don't get to serious.
That, of course, was my plan as well. But fortuneately(or unfortuneately because the relationship didn't survive) I met someone special and immediately lost interest in anyone else. If that doesn't happen naturally, there is no reason to engage in a committed relationship.
I was absolutely mad for my career in my mid to late twenties. I worked 24/7 so I was grateful that I didn't have to devote an inordinate amount of energy to find a boyfriend. Having continual sexual access is not a bad thing.

I've noticed that a lot of guys of your generation are all about "ME". They look at everything in life in what it can bring to them or how it will benefit them.
Falling in love for me was the realization that I'm more than happy to put my partner's interests before my own. He does the same thing for me, so in reality, everybody is happy and gets what they want and need. I've noticed that this selflessness is a concept largely lost on guys your age.
Perhaps you'll fall in love one day with a man who would inspire you to "neglect" your Whorey McSlutterson ways because he desired monogomy?

Beauty regime
At the risk of being ridicule...anyone has a beauty regime that you swear by?
Not that I want to look radiant or anything but I like to have a good clean skin complexion. Not just face but skin as well. So far I find Clinique facial products to be quite good.

1. Always wear sunscreen
2. No matter what, wash your face before going to bed
3. Moisturize daily
Honestly, I don't really think any particular brand is more beneficial than the next. It's all marketing and gimmicks.

I once made the mistake of falling in love with such a guy. He was totally shredded, tattooed to the bone, beautiful skin, soft grey eyes, the whitest teeth you've ever seen, and a voice that could melt rocks. I tried to get us to be friends, but his heart belonged to another, and he would have none of me. I knew I didn't have a chance at love, but I convinced myself that I would be lucky to have his friendship.
But the chance was taken from me and we never were friends. We had a bad fight over a miscommunication, and I didn't see him for months after that. I finally got the chance to apologise and he forgave me, but we never had a chance to be friends.
"Youth dreams of what's to be, I ween,
The future's always far away.
But age must dream of what has been,
The past is always yesterday."
Indeed. <sigh>

I used to be such an abs-chaser. If you had the tiniest amount of fat, it would be a big NO. Now I also find myself attracted to guys who carry a little extra on them, of course usually on top of a ton of muscle. Like the watery look some juice users get... It's actually a bit of a turn-on. Weird, I know.

Same with hair. I used to HATE hair, anywhere... Now, some fuzz turns me on big time!
Strange how tastes develop.

Tastes are always evolving. Both dudes you chose as examples, although the abs are not chiseled, are still both proportionally fit. That is, the chest to waistline measurements are good.
I like natural guys. If you have chest hair, then great. If you're smooth, then great. I'm not a fan of dudes who do too much "manscaping". Scratchy boys on the dancefloor are a huge turnoff. However, as far as back hair goes, well, that's where I draw the line. No m'am!
I also don't prefer stocky young guys because they have a good chance of being fat in their thirties.

I don't deserve the skin that I have. I used bar soap and that is it. Nothing else. But with that said, I believe that beautiful skin comes more from nutrition than products. Make sure you have enough omega 6's and balance them with omega 3, the B-vitamins and copper and zinc. It should make your skin look healther. I also feel digestive disturbances cause skin problems.

So true!
I have a pretty clear complexion, but ever since I started supplementing with fish oil (omega 3s) and ZMA (Zinc, Magnesium and B vitamines) my skin is, well, beautiful.
My skin regime consists of a light scrub (heavier on the T-zone) with cheap, drugstore, Clean and Clear followed by heavy moisturization with more sophisticated products varying from Biotherm, Clinique, Lab Series, etc right now I'm using Zirh and I love it.
I avoid heavy tanning on my face and wear sunscrean in the summer. Not a major concern though since I have a darker complexion.
