That would kick some serious a**! YEAH!
I've been pretty busy with xmas shopping, and tree-setting up and all that jazz. Still on PSMF, still at 30% bodyfat. Which SUCKS!!! (I did it again at the gym yesterday)
I have my free meal tomorrow, but I'm not sure what i'm going to eat. Maybe some pasta or something easy. I went to the gym yesterday and I was P-U-M-P-E-D!!!!!!!! My bf picked me up afterward and I was so wired from the workout I was a little chatterbox! lol I read on the BR forum that you can take creatine while on PSMF, so I started a new round last night and that's what pumped me up. But DAYUM it works. I was able to push out a few extra reps on most of the exercises. And my hammies are feeling it today!
Squat - 95/125/145 - 6 resp of each (PR!!!!)
Calf Raise - 95/125/145 - 6 reps of each
Stiff Legged Deadlift - 60/70/80 6 reps of each
Barbell Curl - 40/45/50 6/6/5 (PR!! on the 50 lbs-normally i can only get one)
Lat Pulldown - 60/60/70 6 sets of each
Bench Press - 55/65/75/85 6 reps of each
Tricep Pushdown - 50/50/50 6 reps of each
Lumbar Lift - 5 lbs 3 sets of 6
Elevated Heel Raise - 10lbs 3 sets of 12
Leg Lifts - 3 sets of 8
Not heading to the gym today, as per PSMF. I miss going everyday. Only sometimes tho

Even though it gives you a pump, remember that in some people, it makes you retain water, so IGNORE THE SCALE while you're cycling the C

Thanks for stopping by the new/old journal. I have been thinking about trying creatine again, too. It's good stuff. Glad you had such a good workout! Don't stress over the BF%----it's going to come down one way or another, just keep up the good work

Yes, yes. Thanks for the reminder. I'm slowly starting to really understand how useless a scale can be I'm not actually cycling it tho. I'm using the Kre-alkylyn stuff.

Creatine ROCKS!!! Yeah, the bodyfat sucks. A little while back I was down at 19%. Ah well, live and learn, eh?
So I did some grocery shopping today, and am almost finished my holiday shopping. I still have to get a few stocking stuffers, but that's not a big deal. All the big stuff is taken care of. So I tried shrimp for the first time last week, and I really liked it. So I got a bag of pre-cooked stuff at the store and I'm going to try it tomorrow. Cuz I tend to make things taste weird sometimes. lol
M1 : 200g egg white, 1/2 cup salsa, 15g bran, 50g egg white, 1 tbsp ff cream cheese
M2 : 100g shrimp, 1 tbsp zesty italian dressing, 1 tbsp feta cheese, salad
M3 : 8 slices corned beef, lettuce, mustard
M4 : 125g cottage cheese
M5 : Protein Shake
M6 : Protein Shake, 15g bran, 50g egg white, 1 tbsp ff cream cheese

how did you test your BF at the gym? i dunno but there's a huge margin of error with a lot of scales, calipers, etc. either through human error or technical stuff. i had a 8% difference in a 1 month period with a BIA test. are you using a tape measure too?
that's so neat that you're decorating the tree! is your son totally psyched for santa to visit? tell him that santa likes to eat shrimp and maybe he'll leave some for you. ; ) def buy the shrimp precooked (and frozen or whatever) bc it's one of those proteins that you can screw up very easily by overcooking.
oh, btw, talk about lifting heavy! dang!

What I regret (not the right word, but I can't think of it now...) about being a Jew is the festivities from Dec 1 - Jan 1 for you guys. Decorating, eating, shopping, eating, family comes in, eating...we only get 8 days of presents/lights and that's it...ENJOY YOUR HOLIDAYS!!!

Thanks for the tip PGRL! I actually ended up asking a little old lady at the grocery store how to cook it before I bought it. I have no shame She was really nice about it tho. haha!
Jamie - HOLLA! back at ya! :P We actually aren't very big on Christmas at my house. Until I had my son, we would order take-out and watch movies all day. 8 days?!?!?! I have two days...the 24th and 25th. So don't feel too bad! Plus, you are god's chosen people, and I think that outweighs any holiday!
So I hit the gym yesterday, and killed my legs. My hammies are STILL sore from my workout on Tuesday, and I have DOMS in my chest from Tuesday too, which didn't really help my workout yesterday at all...but oh well. I have DOMS in my tri's from yesterday, which I have not had in a LONG time! Hurrah!
Squat - 6 reps of 95 6 reps of 125 4 reps of 145
Bulgarian Split Squat - 3 sets of 6 per leg using 20lbs dumbells
Isolateral Bicep Curl - 3 sets of 6 20/25/30 - PR!!! Up 5 lbs
Standing Tricep Lift - 3 sets of 6 50 lbs - PR!!!
Pushups - 3 sets of (like I said, I suck at pushups )
Pulley Lat Pullback - 20/25/30 3 sets of 6
Shoulder Press - 3 sets of 6 reps 20 lbs each YEAH!!!
Situps on the decline bench with 10lb weight - 3 sets of 12 reps
I didn't get as good a pump from this workout. Which suckks. but my neighbour (who just got back into lifting) gave me a scoop of No-xplode to try. So i'm going to try that on Saturday and see how my workout goes. I'm kind of excited. He was really playing it up, and I've heard good things about it on here, so hopefully it will live up to it's name!
My meals have been spot on lately. Here's what I'm eating today :
M1 : 200g egg white, 1/4 cup salsa, 1 minute muffin
M2 : 250g cottage cheese, 2 slices corned beef
M3 : 250g cottage cheese, 2 slices corned beef
M4 : 250g cottage cheese, 1 slice corned beef
M5 : 1 chicken breast, lettuce, zesty italian dressing
M6 : 2 tbsp light cream, 1 minute muffin
M7 : 1 minute muffin
I had to finish off the cottage cheese. Really. It was calling my name in there. I don't think I should buy it anymore. And the corned beef? I found some that has only 1 gram of fat per 2 slices. HURRAY!!! So i'm at about 1000 cals for today, which isn't bad. I'm planning to have a *refeed* on xmas day, because i have 'dinner' at the bf's house at 2pm, and then another dinner at home at 6pm. So ahhhhhh....i'm going to really be on target until then, or i'll have to give up one of the meals. And I really don't want to.

Corned beef is awesome...but between the creatine and the salt in those (fake) meats, you may not see as much weight loss as you anticipated because of water retention. But as long as you see your body changing...you're golden! Also check the ingredients for stuff like 'dextrose' and 'maltodextrin'. I don't know why they put that $hit in meat
After the refeed, are you going to go back to normal eating (ie. MORE calories?)

Hullo all!
I have been doing some crazy stuff this holiday, definitely the most hectic xmas time i've ever had. I put on a few pounds, but the food and drinks were totally worth it. And I have a plan. I'm going to start a new journal and will post the link in a sec. Please come and visit! (or i'll hunt you down.....mwhahahahahahaha)
