Thinking of competiting need experienced help.

Alright, Here's my situation. I've always lifted took supplements on and off for alot of years. But I'm starting to turn my head to having a competitive figure. And looking at puting on alot of mass ( im 175lb - 5"11 looking to getting possibly 215-230) Then cutting down and competeting. As of right now the plan is to make the plan. its my first goal and sounds simple but its not . Id like to do this over a year span, Im thinking bulk up for 8 months and then cut 4 . sounds ridiculously....... i know.

-Bulking stage I plan on taking most likely , tribulus, ZMA, lots of whey protein and casein, multivitamins. vit c. omega 3. flaxseed oil. creatine which is all i can think of at the moment. oh yea and glutamine cant forget that.

work out 4 days a week. 1 and half - 2 hours each session in the pm. 30 min cardio when i wake up in the morning on work out days.

meal plan Im thinking of going on the extreme side and yes eating every 3 hours . even alarms set at night. stupid/ extreme what ever. itll most likely have to do. as I am thinking about spreading out the daily intake of my supplements and vitamins amongst each three hours instead of taking 3 of these twice a day ill take one at each time. I figure the body may absorb it better over a longer period of time.

Problems , I have no idea how much i should increase my caloric intake and ive heard you should do it gradualy and not just jump into eating 4,000 calories a day. I want to Increase it alot to gain lean mass and not fat.

- Cutting

supplements all the same as before plus nitrix and any other supplement to give me a strong pump . this is where im really stumped, Any experience in competeting please give me ideas.

the work out routine be the same for lifting but cardio every day for 30 mins. I plan on hopefully being able to swim for cardio i feel it give alot better edge than running since ive done way to much and it began to bum my knee out alot.

diet Id believe id have to reduce caloric intake as i increased it .

other problem how many calories should i be taking in when im cutting to what ever body fat is generally the right amount for competition (10%?). and Ive read in arnolds body builder encyclopedia that when you cut you need to eat more often? myth? truth ? it just confused me.

over view

Need to achieve goal one. and accomplish a detailed plan for bulking then cutting.

plan needs to consist of

work out routine.

supplementing.

dieting/eating right.

rest.

yes this thread is serious. and Id appreciate any constructive criticism please .

Thanks

Christian

animal Pak=good multi. Actually not too expensive. Can google for cheaper prices too.

Also if your looking to gain 50lbs in 8 months, I can assure you that alot is going to be fat and you wont be able to do that naturally. Muscle takes time to build. I would not worry too much about hitting a certain weight by next year and just focus on building muscle overall. Take your goals one step at a time. The more fat you add, the harder it will be to diet for a contest.

First learn as much as you can about adding clean mass. Read articles on bb.com and on this forum about eating and lifting.
Then after you get that down start to learn about competition prep. Maybe higher a trainer who knows bb competitions (layne preferably) and also read this article:

http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/layne36.htm

As far as bulking, I would look up a calorie calculator here on bb.com which would give you a good ball park of how much you need. Supplement staples should consist of: Protein, Creatine, multi, fish oil. And anything else should probably be on top of that. Maybe some BCAA (especially for cutting) and a preworkout energizer if you need one. You can also look into Hyperdrol x2 + Massfx for a natural anabolic stack which I love.

Hope this helps a little.

Thanks for alot of your input. See i thought it be possible with the right amount of exercise dieting and supplements. well how much do you think can be put on as lean muscle mass in a year probably? about like 25 -30 lbs? I was also told by wushuchich and her husband it most likely take 2 years to get the mass i was looking for to compete. wasnt what i was hoping to hear obviously but im learning its reality.

have you tried any of the other animal stak products?

I know some one personally who has been in bodybuilding for a long time (competitively) but i think he's retired from that now but still lifts seriousely. I may ask him for advice and if i dont gain the results im looking for ill probably look into a trainer. since money will be tight through out all of this for me.

feel free to keep posted on this thread, I know this wont be easy and ill be looking for motivation whereever i may be able to find it .

but the advice is always helpful and thanks!

Hey bro, in all honesty you will be extremely lucky if you put on 10 lbs. a year naturally. If you have been lifting for more than a couple years consistently its more like 5 lbs. a year. Eating every three hours is not extreme, I eat every 2.5 hrs., 8 meals a day. Stick to as much solid food as you can and limit the shakes and bars, food is always king. Work your way up gradually to about 4k kcals, you will put on some fat but try to keep it to a minimum, and yes animal paks are good, I've been taking them for years. I've been lifting for 21 years, I'm now about 210 @10 bf, it takes a long, long time and lots of dedication but you will get there if you want it bad enough, just stay consistent and focused.

Better option

http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/xf/ultrap.html

If you buy in bulk, you save more. Can be found at htt ps://w ww.black star labs .com

With this, there's no need for separate whey and casein. Don;t bother with tribulus, if you want a test booster look into the more designer such as Supremacy, Activate Xtreme, Diesel Test Hardcore etc. Don't bother with the Glutamine, if you want enhanced recovery, look into BCAA/EAA such as Core ABC or better yet IntrAbolic. IntrAbolic is great all round, though things like basic EAA/BCAA are more better on a cut. Don;t bother waking up at night, a great sleep is more important. But you can get some RTD's to set aside to drink if you wake up to go the toilet. Nitrix isn't needed on a cut specifically, but no harm is adding it. I'd look into a good PWO supplement as well.

that is very tempting buying that protein over a bunch of diff types. and id prefer to buy in bulk to prevent needing to keep ordering more.

im in somerset area at the moment myself didnt expect to come across some one out of the UK on here
