Should I eat at late night?
Okay... I'm a student and often I often have to study until late evening.
So my questions are
1. Can I eat at late night time (ex. protein) or I?d better eat nothing?
My main objective is getting ripped for summer.
2. Am I losing my muscles when I'm feeling hungry during night?

Depends on your goals and diet as well as training regimen. Some people eat big meals late night, other people like myself like to have a relatively empty stomach during the evenings. I've found some fat gain when I eat at night, but I've been eating closer to maintenence this week to bump up my metabolism to help plateau bust.

I would try not to eat late at night if you can avoid it. I am a college student as well, and I know that those a.m. study sessions tear up your health. If I ever snack late I go for egg whites or tuna...not too bad ) My BEST advice is to wake up early and do work so that you can sleep at night, even though that takes wayyyyy discipline.

It may depend on what you eat
I have wondered about this question for some time now. I've read many many resources about exactly this. What I've learned is that what you eat and what your goal is are big considerations. I find that I lose weight the fastest if I do not eat at all in the evening. But to maintain mass and bulk, some protein in the evening can be helpful. Nuts, cottage cheese and milk are good for this. Some even suggest taking caseine protein. There are lot of threads in this forum about this issue.
My guess, whatever your goal is that pizza at 2 in the morning may not be a good bet. Eat your carbs early in the day so you can burn them off during the day.
Hope this helps.

well u go into a catabolic state reguardless but having a form of casein like cottage cheese helps somewhat but not completly u have plenty of time to get cut for summer unless ur severely overweight if so i suggest empty stomach if ur not totally obese then i would have some form of casein before bed
