Hey jcuiccio, great job on the physique. Do you have any stretchmarks from muscle memory? I put on mass way too much quickly back when I started working out again and got stretchmarks all over. Cheers.

thanks guys..actually i have practically no stretch marks. i have a few minor ones in the corners where the pec/delt/bicep all meet but you really have to look hard to see them.

hmm.... wouldn't it be visible on the left in a mirror? like in my bod space.... (WARNING I AM A FAT ASS) my chest peice is over my heart.... in the pics (mirror shots) it is visible to the left.... Why would you "flip" a mirror shot when trying to prove that is you? either way nice chop or bod

it's flopped because the main reason for posting the 3 pics side by side was to show it was me. so my face was the main focus..not my body. some guy was insisting that the "guy" in the spoon pic looked much older than the "guy" in the video so i flopped as to have my face be in the same "position" so to speak in all 3 pics for side by side comparison. please..i think it's been well established there's no "chopping" going on dude.

I'm 12 pounds heavier but i hate seeing myself like this! no definition..no tan and my abs and vascularity are pretty much gone but it's ok because it's just a means to an end. i'll continue to bulk til january or so then start leaning up and by next summer my goal is to be over 160 and closer to 6% bf.
also..my posing is awful!..lol..this was after a hard workout so i was quite exausted and just wanted to get it over with. i'm huffing and puffing like i just ran a marathon. in retrospect i should have done more of a variety but literally after 30 seconds of hard posing i was shot and needed to stop.

I have however, been off since january due to some health issues and medication I am on, but should hopefully be back early in the new year.
When you went back hard, did you find that it came back quick in the first few months, or was it more evenly gained back through the year? I know everyone is different body wise, but being in somewhat similar positions and being off for almost a year, I am curious to know what kind of rate your strength and gains returned at?

hey canuck,
every time i'd come back after a layoff, it would come back very quickly. in a very short time my size & strength would be back up to snuff. the fat loss takes a little longer. but i'd always hit a plateau which is why i'd always quit again eventually. but this time i wanted to see what i could achieve if i'd just stick with it for more than 6 months. i've made progress but i'm not as young as i used to be and it took a lot of work!

I dont understand weight...You "the OP" looks like you would weigh 200lbs, but you only weigh 158? I know you are shorter than me...IM about 6'2" and I have more fat on me than you "not grossly fat just thick" and I weigh 250's. I always thought muscle outweighs fat? I do have muscle but im not cut in anyway shape or form. And I dont really want to be. My ideal body looks is like Bill Goldberg....Just big and flat stomach...

i understand what u mean. weight in comparison to body look/ type sometimes doesn't match up. i mean check out this pic of shawn ray. wouldn't you bet the bank that he looks like he weighs more than 210 lbs??

Man I always liked Shawn Ray...That guy has one of the best physics I have ever seen. Too bad bbing went the way of mass monsters with little shape and cut...
I myself must have a very hard body to get cut or really shaped up. I started workingout when I was 25 "i think"...I got stronger and bigger and heavier but just never shaped up. I just recently stopped drinking softdrinks as that was my drug of choice. I eat a normal american foods, but in moderation. I only drink water, milk, flavored carbonated waters....
I dont want to be a mass monster or anything, as a matter of fact im wanting to get down to 200lbs. But im a big guy and I just have a big frame , and that dont help.
Any good tips ouside of what im doing? I walk and light jog on a treadmill for 20 minutes, I hit the heavybag for 15-20minutes, hit the speedbag for about 5 minutes, I do about 5 different crunchs that add up to about 100 reps or so......Then I do my weight training. I do this Sunday thru Thursday and take off Friday and Saturday. Those days are really good for me and It gives me 2 good days to chill and have fun.

Nice work, amazing and funny read, especially the dude that said you spent year and half mouse clicking. I spose you will get stupid people saying its photo shopped if you say its only been lifting 1 year as apposed to 15...
Keep the bulk up, good work !

thanks steve..yes i can see how some can doubt it if they think i started cold only 2 years ago but i guess they missed the part when i mentioned i'd started lifting way back in high school and did it in an on and off manner for years.
