Well, scratch that recommendation. http://www.clubcreavalle.com/ is not vegetarian, but she does have some interesting books and products, imo.
By way of trivia, Andreas Cahling and Bill Pearl both practiced vegetarianism.

I will most likely be running a log both here on bb.com and the BodySpace'n for those who care to follow along, I'm just waiting to decide which section to put the log (thinking sponsored supplement log for most traffic). Even though the contest doesn't 'start' until the 26th I'm kicking it into high gear now, no reason to waste time baby

No time wasting for me either. Game plan is being developed and then reviewed by some of my knowledgable competitive friends to make sure that this is my best transformation ever. I imagine that we will have a thread here that they will want us to post on. Of course I will be posting in my bodyspace too. I have a great circle of friends but not all them feel comfortable in the forum.

Anyone want to know what the 12 weeks are going to be like for me? It's going to be all about strict nutrition and volume baby. Yeah BUDDDAAAAAAAY Light Weight!
Here is the nutrition plan I will be following:
http://www.scivationbooks.com/
C.H.A. DIET
The Carb Hater's Anonymous Diet:
The Final Answer on Carbless Bulking & Cutting
Sometimes we get caught up in dietary extremes. Remember the Grapefruit Diet? Basically, you ate grapefruit. It has thousands of followers. Then you had the no-fat diet, where people would avoid fat like Barry Bond?s avoids drug tests. The latter diet example is probably the most disastrous of any widespread diet we have ever seen. The government got behind this fad and started recommending the carb-orgy diets and the food producers soon followed with fat free YUMMY, sugar-laden food that would spike one?s insulin higher than Robert Downey Jr. on Prom Night. On a personal note, Scivation President Marc Lobliner even saw his father lose his life following a version of this extreme and unhealthy government recommended diet to complications from type-two diabetes. This made Marc curious. He began to study insulin and carbohydrate consumption and soon became an advocate of a controlled carbohydrate and low-glycemic diet. Over the years, Marc?s body has become a machine and operates best with no carbs at all. He is now the founding member of C.H.A.? Carb Haters Anonymous.
And here is the workout plan (slightly modified and customized) that I will be following:
http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/lobliner28.htm
My first VERY detailed blog has already been posted, check it out

Glad to see everyone is getting their plan together so soon. This is going to be such a fun 12 weeks, it will have its ups and downs...but it will be so much fun. I hope that aside from the competition part of it we all work together in helping each other acheive their goals.
I wanted everyone to see this guy.
http://bodyspace.bodybuilding.com/SavageMuscles/
He probably think's I stalk him, but I have to say if you look at his progress pictures...he made some great results in 12 weeks time. I dont plan on copying his plan or diet as I dont know it, but its just proof that if you put your mind to something it will happen!
I'm still gathering my plan together. Its a toss up, and I might mix in a couple for maximum results.
Has any got an official information on what are next steps are?

I'll be setting up a listserv (private email group) for the 7 of us (me, y'all, and Isaac) for support, and I'll email you out info re: the listserv today or tomorrow.
In the mean time, yes, please be researching your options for nutrition and exercise plans for the 12-week timeframe.
Also, BB.com is going to have a 12-wk video guide which will include both a training program and a nutrition outline, if anyone wants to follow that, it's perfectly acceptable. More detailed info will be online within the next few days, at:

On that note, please PM me with which email address(es) you'd like to have used in the listserv. (Please keep in mind that it should be a steady email address that isn't going to change over the next 3.5 months.)
Thanks.

Looks good to me. You should really give everyone a challenge. I have a friend that is helping me with my diet. I dont want to mention any names because I dont want to have him bombarded with emails. He had competed and received fantastic results. He is very knowledgable in the areas of nutrition and bodybuilding. I am blessed to have him as a friend. Ok that sound like a little infomercial. Anyway best of luck. The next area I have to decide on is sups.

Just wanted to stop by and say congrats to those chosen. I, too, will be following this and watching as everyone of you transform your body.
Any word on the alternates? I'm assuming those chosen will still follow the obvious outline (every other day blog, weekly video/pics, weigh-ins, etc.). Will those be chosen prior to the 26th or will they be chosen towards the end if someone falls off (hoping no one does)? Also, I read a post earlier in the thread where you named the 3 alternates and then took 1 of those to compete against the five. It looked like a good suggestion and it seemed to catch the attention of a few unnamed individuals so I was wondering how that was coming along.
Again, congrats to all of those chosen. I'm wishing you all the best of luck in the next 13 (yes count this one) weeks.

Congrats to those selected
I was hoping to get picked to help keep this thing going, but will still follow along and keep pace. I have already met my first short term goal since signing to the site just 2 weeks ago. The advise in the forums on diet have begun to "Transform" the way I eat as well.
Again, congrats! if you need an alternate, consider me.

Can everyone post their goals again.
Mine
Loose 30lbs, and fit into a pair of 36" pants. Currently wear 40" with the flex waist, or a 42" regular pant size. My current beltline measures 46" I plan on dropping that to 38-40"......That might be a 38" pant size?? not sure as I know 38 isnt really 38 inches its like 40 I think.
Just wondering what everyone elses goals are.

Call me crazy, but here goes:
Goal #1 - Drop a minimum 35lbs from starting weight.
Goal #2 - Be able to complete 10 pushups with proper form (limit right now is about 4 or 5 to be honest, I suck at them)
Goal #3 - Be able to complete 3 pullups with proper form (limit right now is zero, I suck at pullups)
Goal #4 - Visible quad seperation.
Goal #5 - More of a peak to biceps.
Goal #6 - Some semblance of a 'I can almost see a V-Taper'
Goal #7 - Clearly defined chin-line
Goal #8 - Visible back definition (kind of visible in person, not on camera currently)
Goal #9 - Bring it EVERY day, because if I reach this goal, the rest will come.

Wonderful goals SCT! I know you can meet them.
I guess I should add I want a body like a goddess but I think that will take longer than 12 weeks. LOL

Is my 24 pounds not challenging enough? I really want to lose more but I want to be realistic with my goals too.
