Idk.

I was stupid once. I was doing overhead tricep extensions (two hands) with a 45 lb dumbell and my elbows were bowed way out trying to get the weight up....I thought I was doing it right but I wasn't. A senior showed me that if you keep your elbows tucked by your head, it's a lot harder and works the muscle better.

It does. It was ALOT harder...I had to go down to 35s and 40s.

I appreciate the help though, if it's necessary.

well when i was at a gym in my college (i have most of the items at home now so i dont usually go to a gym), there was this one kid who was benching, think it was 45kg? anyway, he does all of the streches i do lays down on the bench, suddenly this kid lifts the barbell up, no breathing at all between reps does it in like 5 secs flat.. it was like lift-lower,lift-lower... wow feel sorry for that guy when he asked our gym teacher why his pecs werent building up after 5 weeks of that!

if someone doesnt tell these clowns its gonna result in their own injury and waste of their time.. i sure as hell wont be the one to tell em that because ill be focusing on what exercise to do next!

I remeber when i first went to the gym i didnt know my ass from a hole in the ground.and i am sure all of you started the same so dont forget where you roots came from.I hate when i see or hear someone laughing at someone i know how it feels. WHen i broke my back i got a member ship at the gym i was working chest on this chest machine cant remeber the weight i had on but light kinda like dumb bell pres but with plates you guys know what i mean anywho these 2 young punks were doing bench they had maybe 150 lbs getting maybe 2 or 3 reps out of it and i herd the one guy laughin i didnt know why until i herd his buddy say shut up man he can barely walk so i knew it was at me fk can you say rage. So i sat and waited and watched them when they were finished with the bench i wheeled over and asked if they could help me with the bench. They said sure the idoit that was laughing started to take the wieghts off i had an ear to ear grin,so i said ok now that your done taking the weights off can you plz put 2 plates on each side the guys eyes bugged out what thats like umm started adding up in his head thats 225 are you sure i laid down and in my head iwas man this is going to hurt 1 rep 2 3 4 5 pushed 10 out and i felt i could have done more.got up into my chair buddy was ahh sorry man.i just shook my head at him. Srry for this long winded story but nothing gets my blood boiling more than laughter at somebody's expense at least these ppl are trying intstead off sitting on the friken couch and becomeing an epidemic

its none of your business what someone else is doing in the gym. they paid to use the equipment, not have someone come up to them telling them their working out wrong. if anyone has the right, its a personal trainer or staff member. you have to understand whats seen as private is still public and everyone has their rights to do what they please, as long as their not affecting someone else.

i was talking right
i told some teen u gotta do deadlift and squats there compounds to grow
he said

**** DEADLIFT

so i thought forget it just leave topic then we was talking about protein and he said

SHUT THE FOCK UP STOP TELLING ME WHAT TO DO
and he start getting realy angry
i was like
what
from there on it started of and this is some skinny guy
i ended up banging him on the face
everyone on the gym agreed with me

HIS IGNORANT

he has to much pride
the moder focker weighs 7 stones and his saying fock dead lift and protein
even the big guys where saying they take advise its part of being a bb
even arnold at one point learnt from someone

next time im going to leave pole lie that alone
makes me so angry

whats so funny is this happened few hours after i read this post
