PMS- any suggestions out there?
I've been doing rather well when it comes to eating for the past 10 days.
I'm a few days away from "starting". I'm craving sugar and salt like there is no tomorrow!
Is there anyone out there who may have any suggestions as to what i could eat?
what i really want is a cookie and a bag of chips..ahh!
Suggestions ...anyone??

I am in the same boat -- I feel your pain! I like to eat very tart granny smith apples... they seem to kill the sugar cravings and fill me up.

Oh, I am soooo feeling you! I am craving high sodium foods so bad! Luckily I don't crave sweets. I just tell myself that I get my treat meal on Sunday, just hold out till then!
Sugar free popsicles used to help me get over sugar cravings when I first started dieting. They're only like 15 cals. Also, mixing ff/sf pudding mix with cottage cheese tastes really good as well.
My all time favorite healthy treat is mixing plain pumpkin w/ cottage cheese, and some splenda and pumpkin pie spice. Tastes SOO good, like pumpkin pie w/out the shell.
Good luck

Thanks you for the suggestions!
Do you think if i made some protein pudding it would be half bad to do?
i read on the forums somewhere about some supplements to take, but i really don't want to take any. i want to do this 12wk journey i've set out for myself all natural (with the exception of the protein powder).

If you like cottage cheese...I always put pineapple in it when I have a sweet craving. I usually eat this too when the whole family is eating ice cream in front of me.

Like I mentioned, fat free, sugar free pudding mix (powder) mixed w/ fat free cottage cheese is really good! If you don't like the texture of cottage cheese, you can just blend it in the blender. The pudding mix has minimal calories, so overall it's really low cal.

Hope you're feeling better and conquering those cravings

Something a lot like cookie dough:
Mix oats, peanut butter and honey together (grind oats in a mixer if you don't like them whole...I like them whole). Mix to taste or according to your macros. Maybe add some protein powder (depending on if you have a good tasting one) or broken up dark chocolate.
Don't fall back on it too much (the peanut butter, honey and dark chocolate can kill ya if it doesn't fit into your diet). The texture and flavor of this can totally take care of sweet cravings and it is very clean compared to actually eating a cookie.

I feel your pain! I would love to eat an entire batch of cookies right now!!
Every now and then I use slimfast powder or sugar free, fat free frozen yogurt to fill the craving.
