I will always be in Class A, lol.
I believe you meant NPC North American, not IFBB NA. If you are in an IFBB show, you probably aren't looking to earn your Pro card.
Thanks for the info!

The bolded part is confusing to me. The Team U is the Figure Nationals!

North American's
Yes Cathy is correct, the IFBB North American's is a pro qualifier, it actually used to be an IFBB Pro show, that is most likely why the IFBB part is still there, but that is a wondeful show and Gary is a great promoter, I have been to that show twice and had a great time. Highly recommend it.

hey you! whats up?
heres the reason its IFBB North American.... the NPC is the amateur USA affiliate to the IFBB. The IFBB sanctions amateur and professional competitions. The NPC handles USA bodybuilding/fitness/figure. Because Mexico and Canada also participate in the North Americans, it becomes "IFBB" instead of calling it, say, NPC North Americans, CBBF North Americans as more than one country's amateur organization participates so the bigger organization "oversees" it...
this one in particular is an amateur event, although there have been professional North American Championships...

Figure Nationals and Team Universe
I'm a little confused. Can someone please explain the difference. Is there a difference between Figure Nationals and Team Universe? And, when & where are they held?

The Figure Nationals still seem to be the TU, and there are still the most Pro cards there. However, it seems Fitness will also be at the TU and Figure is now included in the November Nationals rather than Fitness (was in Dallas last year, Atlanta in '08).

by the looks of the update...Figure Nationals is now on the same weekend as Bodybuilding Nationals. Team U used to have bodybuilding & fitness, and then on the same weekend, same stage, there was also the Figure Nationals.
now, it looks like for 2008 National Bodybuilding & National Figure is on the same weekend, and Team U is now made up of bodybuilding & figure, with the National Fitness Championship held on the same weekend as Team U...
