Since no one wants to search before they post, here are some of the basics you can expect...
1. That wasn't the workout, just a fitness test they did.
2. Expect lots of BBers cursing you for caring about skinny Spartans.
3. They had trainers, pre-made meals and lots of make-up & lighting (& CG?) enhancement.
4. They were all starving during the week while training.
5. Etc.

This would defiantly be a good start for someone who has no lifting experience, but honestly your best bet, especially at 15 would be to EAT, and LIFT HARD. You need to add some meat to your frame before you attempt to shred, like the guys in the 300. Even at that there are other exercises that I would do to cut, before I considered that routine. Also those numbers cant work for everyone some need to be higher in weight and others less.
Good luck!

Yes, it's going to be sad. Thankfully, there's still time for him to delete this thread and do an advanced title search for "300". When he does that, he'll understand why it's in his best interest to delete this thread.
Let's hope he does it before it's too late.

So they were doing a horrible workout routine AND starving while doing it? While i eat every 2 hours and do the best strength compound routines possible. and yet i look no where near as good as they did. Gotta love genetics.

Those are all great exercises, I would think anyone who has the willpower to do that every day, or even every other day for that matter, would find it effective.
A better question would be, is it an effective workout for you to reach your personal goals? We'd have to know what they are to answer that, though.

No, it's not. That's not a spartan workout. It's not even the workout the actors used. I think it was a fitness test they did once. Terrible workout, will give minimal results if any at all.
Just doing those exercises for those reps will do jack ****. No progression.

that routine was made as a fitness test and a majority of the actors didnt even complete it.
the actors werent starving they were fed enough to get them through resistance training so they could optimize their fat loss during hiit sessions. most of the actors in 300 already had the muscle on them and just needed to strip the fat to get all shredded.
seriously who has used a kettle bell since the 20s?

That's the thing. If it were an actual Spartan workout it might catch my eye. But this is just some bull**** thrown together by some fat nerd to give to these actors
They're actors, and they dont even look that impressive. Spartans werent know for having a lot of muscle/strength. They were just excellent fighters.

spartans were known for being strong as well as excellent warriors. using spears swords and shields its hard to be a good warrior without a decent amount of strength. they did not have much bulk like roid pumped bodybuilders of today but they had practical strength much like the strength required for strongman competitions. they also knew a surprising amount about nutrition and protein as a means to aide in muscle growth

They were strong, but not in the same sense as we think about it. They got strong by fighting over and over and over and over again. Their training consisted of fighting, and doing whatever kind of obstacles they could think of. Their bodies just adapted to this so when they trained, they could both outmove and outlast their opponents.
They didnt walk into a gym and do 50 deadlifts, 25 pushups, 25 situps, 50 kettlebell raises, or whatever the **** else is in that program.

Yeah, it was a fitness test for the actors to do at the end. The only one to complete it was the guy that played Daxos, the Arcadian leader. As a workout, no, it's not effective, although the exercises themselves are very good for building functional strength..... don't try and use this workout often, you'll burn out, but go for it to try and see where you size up.
