After My second baby I was 190 lbs. in August of 2006.
I am was an astonishing 116 lbs for my first two figure shows. I went from just wanting to get on stage to becoming a serious contender. There have been a few publications that are talking to me about doing a story on my transformation.
I would love to inspire others just because I have been through so much in the last five years. I have a child that was born four months premature and this child has had over 25 surgeries and procedures, and almost died on Christmas day 2001. To this day we still have nurses in our house for 16 hours a day. This is to ensure Kayla's health and safety.
During this past five years I would train but never consistently work out.
Last February I put my foot down and decided if I wanted to live long and have a productive life I was going to have to lose the weight. So I joined Body space and was able to write and Track all of my gains, pics, accomplishments, and read many articles about training and supplementation. What I loved most was shareing my story and reading about other peoples success all of these things motivated me so much.
The true motivation was going to be getting onstage half naked in front of 1000 people. That?s why I decided to do a National qualifier - the Golds Classic in New Jersey.
As of now I have competed at the Golds Classic and East Coast Bodybuilding and Figure Championships where I qualified as a National Level competitor. I am going on to do Arnold Schwarzenegger?s amateur show in Feb (this is one of, if not the biggest, bodybuilding/fitness shows in the world).
I have trained so hard to stay in shape my workouts look like this 1 hour of cardio in the morning. back to the gym at 4:30 p.m. and do 188 reps in a row (dumbbells) at 80% of my max full body. I get a 90 second break and then I?m back at it two more times, then another 30-45 minutes of cardio.
I just hope you get a chance to check out my progress I believe you will enjoy it because I have truly been kicking my own but. I just got news, MHP a huge nutrition company is interested in putting me in some transformation ads and a commercial.

Ad
I am a full-time RN, BSN Nurse for a Hospital, mother of 2 small children, and wife. Family comes first for me, so bb.com helps me use my limited time to the fullest. By reading my bodyspace page you can get a good idea of what I have done this year. More detailed info is also on the pro-am bodyblog about me at :
http://blog.bodybuilding.com/ProAmCo...ural-universe/
I almost exclusively used bb.com forums to get answers to my questions and bb.com contest articles for women. We have been purchasing our supplements for years from here. Without bb.com, I am almost positive I would not be in the best shape of my life and definetely would not be competing! I just recently posted pictures (a week ago) after proding by my husband and the response has been amazing. So regardless of whether or not you use me in the ad, I appreciate the outlet bb.com provides average people!
thank you
April
p.s.
thanks Richard for everything!

I would love to be in your ads!!!!
I Have Been Working Out Since I Was 13 Yrs Old, But I Have Really Just Started Bodybuilding For About 8 Or 9 Months Now. I Just Got Out Of Active Duty In Us Navy, I Served Onboard The Uss Momsen. I Now Work As A Full Time Security Officer.
I Love Bodybuilding Cause It Makes Me Feel Good About Myself And I Look Better, And Just To Improve My Body To Be The Best I Can Be. This Is Not An Easy Sport But It's One That I Love More Than Anything I Have Ever Done Before, Like Football Or Basketball, You Don't Have Teammates To Depend On When You Are On The Stage, But You Will Need People To Support You As Much Possible, Like Family And Friends. My Wife Jamie Loves The Way I Look. My Wife Has Really Been There For Me, And That Is Really Important For Me. And We Both Love Workingout Together So That Makes It Even More Fun, When You Can Spend Time With The Person You Love Doing What You Love To Do, What Can Be Better Than That?
I'm Always Motivated To Hit The Gym Cause I Love Doing It, So Its Not Something That I Have To Do, Its Something I Look Forward To Doing, So I Guess That's How I Stay Motivated To Hit The Gym, And My Wife Keeps Me Motivated Also.
I Want To Be A Pro, And One Of The Best Bodybuilders In The World, In Years To Come, And I Want To Promote The Sport Of Buildbuilding. I Also Want To Become One Of The Best Personal Trainers As Well.

Recommendation for ad competition
I would like to recommend an awesome candidate for your ad campaign. His name is Parker and is registered as clutch401. He is a student and has made a tremendous transformation that I believe would make him an excellent choice. Please consider him as you make your selection. I have attached a picture of him to this post. Thanks.

More pics in my bodyspace page above:
I"m Will Litz, I began training at a 'beefy' 140lbs (lol) over the course of 10 years I bulked up to 230lbs. Having laid a solid foundation I leaned up to 215 and currently stay in decent shape around 200-210lbs.
Currently I am trying to gt my lean size up to 220lbs.
I started training while in school and once done high school worked in construction. I am now VP of a crane rental outfit in Canada. Last year I started writing for Ironman magazine as well (my thanks to Steve Holman for the oppurtunity).
I was your classic ectomorph and had a very hard time to add size. I could live on whole milk and burgers and not gain an ounce of fat, but of course that also meant I couldnt gain an ounce of muscle size either.
In time I settled on a routine and system that worked for me and added some much needed size. I am still far from a monster but am very happy with what I did. Since then I've helped others get in great shape as well and I find it very rewarding to assist those looking to improve their health and their physique.
Here are a few before and after pics to consider

A 100% Natural Success!! Thanks BB.com
Dear BB.com,
I am the "Ultimate" Average Everyday Guy who has used BB.com to achieve Success!! I am 41 years old and have trained "Naturally" all my life and struggled with success until I stumbled onto your Web-site.
I would make a great marketing story, believe me!!!! If I can do this using BB.com than anyone can!!!
I grew up in a small-town farming community in Iowa with a population of 1,100 people which I still live with my Wife and three children. There are NO Gyms or Fitness Centers for over 40 miles. I strictly train at home in my basement using all the information and supplements from BB.com. I have your site as my home-page and usually look at it daily.
I am without a doubt a 100% SUCCESS STORY Due to BB.com. I work Full-Time as an Auto Mechanic while happily married for 20 years with 3 children.
I always wanted to be a bodybuilder but everything always seemed to be against me....No gyms,, No Advice,,, No Supplement stores etc... I always trained and lifted but I could never achieve the physique that represents the "WOW" factor. When I stumbled onto BB.com about 5-6 years ago I devoured the info and ordered the "Best Priced" supplements with the Site's advice.
LOOK AT THE ENCLOSED PHOTOS!!!! This was me "Before" BB.com and then
"After" with about 2-3 years of using the site. This is REAL!!!!!! Just an Average Mechanic in a small Farming Town that found everything he needed on BB.com.
By using this site, I have won the Mr.Iowa and also obtained my Pro Card in the WNBF, all while living in a one-horse town and training in my basement.
THANK-YOU BB.com,
I would truely feel honored to tell the world my story and how BB.com changed my physique.
Hopefully your next BodyBuilding AD star,
Jason

It ain't easy on the road....
...or at 35,000 feet.
As an airline pilot, flying the widebody is a good thing-- having one isn't. As the size of aircraft and time spent aloft increased, so did my waist size! I began clean eating and working out as a way to 'stay in shape'. As I began to frequent the weight room and up the cardio intensity, I realized I could 'build a body'. I could build a body that was far better than I imagined.
I began to devour information, gaining from valuable sources, including bodybuilding.com's supplements and competition forums. Especially helpful were the articles written by figure competitors, many of which I shared with other competition hopefuls. With this new knowledge and inspiration, I made a decision; I wanted to compete. I began training with the Performance Ready team in Colorado and learned about ordering my supplements from bodybuilding.com. Being home an average of 10 days a month, I had the supplements delivered to my door on the few days I was home!
Lunging through hotel hallways at midnight, bounding up emergency staircases, and sprinting through parking lots became a way of life. I love my job, but envied my friends at home who had fresh vegetables and chicken. Everything I ate was powdered, dried, or canned. I was flying day schedules followed by night schedules. In beautiful South America, I had to turn down my favorite kinds of foods and crack open a can of tuna.
In October of 2007, I entered my first figure competition, placing first and winning the overall! I had previously accepted that I could never compete at the level of people with 'normal jobs', refrigerators, and gyms. I was forced to think in terms of my situation, not the norm. Using tools like Bodybuilding.com, I was able to both accomplish my goals and hopefully....inspire YOU.
(pics enroute.... may take a bit to get one in 'da plane')!

consideration
well, just for the fun of it, I'm putting my "hat" into the ring.
I'm just an "anverage Joe" that wanted to get in shape for a cruise I was taking last September. From the articles I have read from this site, and looking at the things I wanted to change, I went for it. I work out at home before work ( cardio and weights). I profession is a Business Analyst at a Credit Card authorization firm ( was computer programmer now I try and solve processing problems). And I am behind a pc screen sitting most of the day. BTW I turned 56 last May ( hope I'm not too old for this). I really don't want to go into competition, just want to look like I do. But that will take some time. Thanks for the consideration.

Im interested!
I work 40 hours in a dental office and am "just" a mom (single parent actually). I go to the gym 5x a week, no trainer or nutritionist to speak of, just me and the weights.
Thanks,
fern
