    i've been lifting for 3 years now and, i've been taking a regular ol' shmo multi vitamin, centrum performance, its more geared towards the athlete, here is the FACTS for it

    I would say more C. I take 6 to 9 g per day and rarely get sick( 3 or 4 days in the last 20 years).

    I take the same one 2x a day (morning with first meal and evening with second to last meal).

    On top of that, I take extra/added Vit-C, Vit-E, Fish oil gels, K-RALA (GlucophaseXR), Quercin, Grape Seed Extract among others.

    If you were to add more, those are a good starting point.

    I would suggest taking an Iron free vitamin unless your doctor says otherwise.

    I personally would take way more folic acid. Folic acid is directly linked to lowering homocysteine levels which is a big risk factor for heart disease. The FDA set the dailey recommend allowance ridiculously low based on the fact that it might hide a b-12 deficiency.

    I would also add a selenium supplement, a powerful antioxidant, L-carnitine and COQ-10.
