Definitely wait until the 2nd weekend to carb up the first go around. If your main goal is fat loss I wouldn't carb up more often then once every 10-14 days.

Also I always eat alot of fiber during my carb ups to help keep everything moving. I always have some kashi go lean cereal, flat out wraps, fiber one etc to get plenty of fiber to clear the stomach...

Family size packs or chicken breast, ground chuck and even 3lb boxes of turkey burgers are $5 at wal mart.

Definitely not delusional. Its amazing how small of an amount of carbs makes a huge difference before a workout when you are in ketosis.

I like cutting mine into potato logs and baking them in the oven with smoked paprika. Or if you want to make a nice little dessert put cinnamon and splenda on them then bake.
