Anyway, as Dark Lucifer says. It's just that deadlift is one of those exercises that has more consequences than others if not performed correctly.

Smith squats can be ok as a bodybuild exercise I suppose (pumping). I wouldn't do fullsquats though (ass to grass). I think it's less suitable for powerlifting sets.
