Even i have quit squat, coz i gained a big glutes, one thing abt leg press(it works really good) is that u should't bend let ur legs too much try to apply total strength from ur quards.

Whenever i train mine pecs, they pain hard for 2 or 3 days specially the upper part of sternum just below the neck, and i haven't seen any growth over there from long period, i feel like the muscles...

Yo Man!!!
It's generally due to weak triceps and shoulders, try to pay more attention on your triceps and isolate ur triceps and chest workout. It will defenitely work.
