I see no harm in doing it in one day. And from what I have been reading I understand that it is better not to create a calorie deficit more than 1000 calories per day so you might wanna be careful...

yeah I think that's too low. You should lose the fat slowly, just be patient and I think it would be wise to add some more calories to your diet.
