how about waking up earlier in the morning ? Hell ok i dont have kids but Im up at 4:30am to do my spinning 5x a week .. usually i could get up at 6:30am and still get ready, eat and make it on time...

Up the weights, yes, but also change your routine/program every 4 to 6 weeks. If you do the same exercises for too long, your body will get used to it and hence, you won't see any changes.
