also..
some benefits to split routines are:
Less fatigue which equals greater loads and strength gains.
Greater attention per muscle group
and last but not least
you are less apt to overtrain...

splits
Splits actually work better from the beginning because lets say you do 2 muscle groups on monday chest and biceps..you wake up the next morning and see how effective the workouts u did the day before...

hey
adding 5 every 2 weeks is actually a good way to go because your muscles get stronger faster than your tendons and it gives the tendons a sufficient amount of time to catch up. thus avoiding injury....

too much is no good
many people may think the more they workout the better but thats not always the case...rest is very good for your muscles especially if you work out as mucxh as you say you do...every 8 weeks i take...
