I guess my gym's decline bench is an overachiever then :)

My point is, keep the lats and tris to a minimum. Lower angles achieve this better, that's all.

DOMS isn't the good kind of sore, its the kind of sore that means you've created a bit too much trauma. DOMS is something you don't want and can be a precursor to a higher risk of injury.

I disagree. It could very easily be kyphosis and/or lordosis, or maybe a lesser anterior pelvic tilt issue. Im sure underdeveloped pecs are part of it too though...
