You can do plyometrics. Also if you have water jugs with you, you can hold those on each hand and do walking lunges, shoulder presses, curls, and tricep extentions.

Eating at night doesn't magically add more calories to what you're eating. As long as you're total calorie intake for the day is less than what you burned, you'll lose weight.

I love basketball too and it's great for fat loss. It'd be better though if you could play full court. All the running back and forth gives a pretty good workout.
