    When I go as low as to squat on a plate it actually detensions. Weird I know, but you can feel the load release then re-engage. If I just do a little below parallel, I feel more continuous stretch.

    Oh, btw, most saying ATG aren't. ATG is heels to ass. One should be able to box squat to a plate. That said, aside from the stretch it offers, I don't think going that low offers much benefit.
