Normally I don't involve mechanics in my deadlift if a car isn't involved.
This coming from the guy who thought he was 230 @ 15%.
LOVE YOU BRO.
This bear will not be poked. Noted.
I think I'm due for a mini cut. Thoughts, Paul?
End of May.... still got some time for some gainzzzzzz
I appreciate you sandbagging to let me take the head to head in this go-round. Let's put up some real #s at our next meets shall we?
I think you hit the nail on the head - back issues going in to the meet probably fuk'd with you a little on the grind because that 512 was there. I think you've definitely got some more poundages on...
As someone who graduated law school with $240k in debt and thought it was the hardest thing in the world, you will change your perspective when you get out of school.
I'm with ^^^
I agree with this. Fuk what you feel like now and stop moping around feeling sorry for yourself about it too.
Vid of the miss?
Did it give you pain? Just feel too heavy?
No one wants to share??
I figured that's all you trained ;)
Just so you know, I still lurk but I follow all your progress on instagram.
Yeah, and I actually agree with what he said that I do like the jump from 2-3 to be slightly smaller than from 1-2 so I can get on board with this.
I'd probably be prone to do something more like 405/430/450 or whatever the kilo equivalent is there but that's just splitting hairs.
The double at 420 looked better than the single at 405...
I guess I'll sub for what is the only thread I really lurk in anyway.
We're all just competing against our best self right?
I mean let's be serious. In the regular world, we're both pretty strong. In the PL world, not so much. I'll probably finish in the bottom...
That's what I said, same goal total ;)
Hah - I have a mock meet I'm doing on Saturday. Our goal totals are about the same. In a perfect world would like to hit 395/305/550.
I challenge you to a duel.
I'll spot you approximately 60 lbs on squat and then try to play catch up.
