I think Sumo Deadlifts are fine on leg day.
But I would do them after squats.
You never want to be tired and loose form on squats.
And just realize that you wont be hitting max weight on deads...
I would take a few weeks off from regular squatting and do some other variations for a while.
Try sumo deadlifs, zercher squats, leg press, romanian deadlifts.
Weird is OK if the feeling goes away in a day or two.
My advice is to warm up with kettlebell swings before you deadlift
then add weight slowly with each set
keep rep ranges to 5 or less for all...
