Sorry, that bezel styled bracelet is ridiculous imo. If its a soft material then its probably ok to wear it on the same wrist as the watch, but anything else will possibly scratch the watch.

Anything is better than the stock straps/bracelets. One of the best and easiest mods for a Seiko 5 is changing the stock strap. Here is mine:
