if you are set on adding a supplement, a gainer that I liked taking was "real gains" by universal. I had the choc ice cream flavor. I thought it tasted great and was roughly 600+ calories per shake...

You could start by making your own shakes..Protein,PB,some oats,banana,use whole milk if you want..you can doctor it up any way you'd like to get those extra calories into your diet.
