I wear mine to the gym, and they transition seamlessly to the short chino shorts and a pfg/button-up/polo look.
It's not cat piss, but it just smells like it, no idea why, but they'll help you out...

I've got multiple pairs of these (990 and 993's), they're awesome, go well with any kind of casual look you'd want, and are comfy as fock.
