I had the same thing for my first year or so of lifting.
I believe it is due to your muscles repairing at a faster rate than your tendons. It's tendon pain I think you're feeling, not bone.

This is my progress from April of 09 to Today. I'm not really sure how good the progress is compared to most other people. I'm 17 until late may if that changes anything.
