The key to just making gains for me was switching from the ridiculous bro splits to doing fullbody workouts or upper/lower workouts. For example, this meant increased frequency.. Squatting at...

My bench was above my squat for so long because I injured my back, but I've always had a strong bench anyway. I cut low just by being in a deficit for so long :)
If you're cutting; what do you expect to happen? You ain't going to gain muscle in a deficit. Forgive me if you're not cutting but thats the impression I got.
