Perhaps what OP saw were just the guys snacks to keep him going between fast food takeouts?

This is the only forum worth posting on or browsing imo. And the right size that I can keep track of posts/responses relatively easy. I have learned lots from members here and casually observing...

In the UK in most cases it is cheaper to buy ready meals than the ingredients to make it fresh yourself. Ready meals are everywhere, aisles and aisles of the stuff.

Plus this stuff they are eating even though calorie dense is not satiating at all, so they're prob hungry a lot of the time.
