it's part of the problem. you open the closet and observe a shelf with a green bottom. you're figuring out the prob that same shelf has a green top.

You've already determined that the bottom is green, so it's 100% if you're dealing with sample space 1 (can only be g/g) and 50% for sample space 2 (either w/g or g/g)

I figured it out the same way but I think the last calculation is
1/(100% + 50%) or 1/1.5 = 66%
so the 2/3 guys were right.
