I haven't been around for a while!
I am 3 days late to this thread, but I started my cut last week. Do you mind me participating at all?
Lool I just saw this reply.
Been watching these forums for 7 years longer than you, I can post where I want, ty.
And everything I say is backed by science, the same cannot be said about any of...
1lb a week is good.
IIFYM is just calorie counting + specific carb / fats percentages. If you don't know much about nutrition then use it, but honestly, counting calories, and having a good source...
They are different to the average estimate, but it's through documentaries and what I've seen from bodyfat testing that I base my estimates on.
Again, you cannot compare a normal looking person...
You should be doing cardio regardless for your health, everyone should.
When I was heavy, I used to run, it is tough on the body, but remember, just walking at a high weight is tough on the body,...
You might already be near it, I'd put you at 11%.
Post of the thread right here.
Some of those posts above are borderline ignorant.
You can pretty much cut and gain muscle, providing the deficit isn't huge.
The magic is done in the gym for muscle gain. :)
Again, don't bulk, you'll just put on fat.
Put you around 14% - 16%, but it's really hard to say due to the skin pinch.
You'll always look a little bit heavier because your skin isn't as tight...
Nope, some of us just have pockets of fat, I have that problem also, it depends on the person.
For some, they can hit 15% and have no pockets of fat, they'll just have a spread of fat all over....
Don't bulk, that's for that. :) Just eat normally, anything more = potential fat gain.
I'd put you around 11% - 13%.
You don't build muscle from bulking.
You build muscle by ripping your muscle fibres, they repair themselves, and you go and rip them again, that's what your routine is for, any routine that hits...
BTW.
These are a lot of estimates, and I'm guessing purely on looks (I have no idea on skin pinch size, legs on most pictures etc).
I'm going to be wrong on some for sure, but it's better than...
14% - 16% I'd say, your skin is slightly stretched so that does affect the look and thus makes you think you're heavier than you are.
Hard to say, really really bad lighting.
Maybe 13% - 14%, maybe slightly less.
You're around 9%, you're leaner than you think, you just need mass pushing against the skin.
You're pretty lean to be honest, I'd put you around 12% - 13%.
