I think its a good deadlift bar, I pulled 3 plates with it for months with no issues.

I use 5 reps for deadlift so my Texas Power Bar is a little to hard on my hands, or I am a wuss.

My ob86b is my deadlift bar, it gets put down hard weekly with iron plates and almost 2 years later is in great shape still.

I have a SS bar and am doing a hacked up version of starting strength and I use the ss bar on bench day to relieve shoulder aches from squating.
