You could probably get away with eating more than that. I would eat at 3k, lift weights, keep your protein high and watch the scale drop. When it slows down, start lowering your calories.
You don't look like you have ever lifted so you probably have some good noob gains to be made. Lift heavy with a ~200cal surplus and I bet in 4-6 months you will look a lot better.
