Its happened to me before, usually when I take it with creatine though. My suggestion would be to drink 2 glasses of water after your whey to ease it through your system a bit.

Just make your own. I grind it up in my blender and store it in a ziploc bag in my refridgerator, I heard it goes rancid rather quickly at room temperature.
