It really depends on the severity of the doms and how long since you've trained a body part. If you've trained it more than 48 hrs ago but still have mild doms there's no harm in training it again.
Yeah! that sums up my fears about adding deadlifts very well. I still want to start doing them though.
thanks for the responses although I see there's some disagreement as well.
I think I will try adding them once a week on a pull day, with a rest day after. But as someone said they do use a lot of...
I've never really done them, and I am not sure where to add them in. I have a great back as you can see in my pictures, but with a max deadlift that's lower than my bench, it is just embarrassing--...
Soy protein does not cause cancer. Its a myth started by the gluten-free-organic-gmo-free-raw-vegan types
Sound's like you can be bulking for a long time. 158 lb at 6 feet is almost underweight. Also you might still be growing at that age so you need the calories, wouldn't restrict them. Just eat clean...
Thanks, yes, this is what I consider doing. I will try some other protein sources instead (although whey protein is just so convenient and I have about 15lbs at home currently! haha). At worst, if...

I am sure there are others who have this problem too so I decided to address it as it bothers me a lot.
I have a bloating problem, and I am not sure what's the best way to approach it. I am...
Thanks for reply! That's pretty much exactly what I was thinking, wanted more opinions
Also what about other exercises other than the main lifts? Like bodybuilding exercises. I was going much too heavy on them, and not focusing on working the actual muscles. The hodgetwins made a video...
Thanks for the reply! I have considered switching up the rep ranges in a similar manner, it seems to makes sense intuitively, but I was not aware there are programs like that. I will take a look at...
That sort of routine is definitely not optimal for gaining muscle mass.
Also it depends a lot on your personal recovery abilities.
Nevertheless, if you want to gain or keep upper body muscle...
I have some questions regarding changes to my routine. My first post on these forums!
Background: Believe it or not, I only started training consistently this September. At first I had tremendous...
