Being dehydrated can cause up to 15% decrease in strength, so a lot of water IS a good idea before a max.

I recently just started the 5x5 routine and I'm curious as to when to move up.
I can do 235 for a set of 6 but I'd read that it's best to start the routine at a lighter weight or the possibility...
Hammer curls
Barbell bench
DB Bench
Weighted Dips
Deadlift
I'd say the 255 would be more "correct"... as mine is 110s for 5 and BB bench 250.
Aiming to hit 110s for 6 solid repetitions this week.
BW for 10, 2 sets
BW + 25 for 6, 2 sets
I'm in the upper 220's...
Same here, incline barbell... and some guy helped me out.
Baton Rouge.
Work out at LSU Rec.
I've been in the sport for about a year now, I love it. That was great info.
Bench: 245x4
Deadlift: 405x1
Squat: 3x265x10
Been training for about a year and 3 months.
That's me all the way.
Monday - Shoulders/Arms
Thursday - Chest/Back
Saturday - Legs
In between, I go in and do abs and basically I'll do supplemental lifts, something I didn't hit as...
Very impressive man.
I can do that for a set of 8-10 right now... keep it up, I hope to be at your strength level some day hopefully soon.
Just lift heavy **** and eat healthy. If you've read all those articles you'd also know that CONSISTENCY is what yields results. The rest will fall into place.
Strong back, big ass forearms, large chest, sensitive shoulders, no abs.
Military press (dumbbell/barbell, I alternate)
Front Raises
Lateral Raises
Upright Rows
15 Chin ups.
10 regular pull ups.
I'd say about twelve is a good time to begin and start learning.
There's a powerlifter around here that started when he was twelve, he's sixteen right now and he can squat 720 at 185 pounds......
Yeah, I get that one a lot.
I've had good experiences with it.
I take both whey and I take Syntha at different times through out the day.
Same here. I don't squat and I just started deadlifting.
My bench is 205 for reps. I've been working out for just under a year.
I've got pretty strong peripheral lifts that a lot of people...
