Dude with a mechanical degree there are a billion different jobs you can get. If you get a degree in petroleum, you are limited to oil. If you want to do that, just get a chemical engineering...

All the good schools I know just offer Mech, Electrical, Chem, Civil, Computer eng. with options to specialize later on.

Stuff like Aerospace or Structural are just one of the basic engineering...
