Just pre-ordered the Zelda 3DS XL and am thinking about getting Pokemon, so I'm just wondering if there are any benefits between choosing either X and/or Y. (Thinking about getting Y)

Depends if you plan on expanding in the future via additional storage drives/other cards (since they do add up), or if you plan on doing any major overclocking.
