My friend is in his first year at JPM doing IB. He snaps me at 1-2 am pretty much weekly (at least 1 day out of the week). Works almost every weekend as well.
So many uneducated assumptions. Plenty of fields that work m-f 9-5 with no call if you choose. Even ER docs have set schedules depending on their shifts/month.
