Okay, so it's possible I'm not using my transverse abs all that much in my plank - good to know. I've done those isometric contractions in the past but didn't realize those were working...
So, I'm 3 months postpartum, and need to reduce my belly. A big element of this is fat loss but I've also read that transverse abdominal muscles get weakened during pregnancy.
Well, I definitely wouldn't say I have no muscle. I think my arms look good (for what I want at least). My butt has lost a lot of muscle unfortunately (perhaps legs too).
So, I'm 3 months post partum working on my belly (take a look at the picture). I'd like to lose an additional 5 lbs of fat at least, but I'm sort of wondering whether to think the state of my belly...
I recently read something which explains why over the years my appetite has become harder to manage and why I can't make it through the night without eating something.
I actually try not to drink much of anything in the last few hours before bed. And in the middle of the night, I'm really only taking a few sips of the Xtend...
I've been taking it in the middle of the night to control hunger. (I think I've read that it stabilizes your blood sugar, right?) It works pretty well for...

Thanks! Yeah, I was doing a lot of salads before, so now I guess I just need to get more specific about what's on it...
And hopefully nobody will invite me out for Chinese...
I just started keto and I'm not looking forward to my friends asking me to go out to restaurants. I think my body's carb limit might be pretty low, so I'm very wary of any mystery sauces on my...
Yeah, I went looking for other threads on the same topic - seemed that people were saying you could do Xtend, but not too much of it...I think that correlates with your research....
Is Xtend okay in keto? I stopped taking it once I started trying to reach ketosis. I figure maybe to be sure I shouldn't start taking it until I at least actually reach ketosis - but what do you guys...
Although, from what I've read, it sort of depends on the individual, right? I read that some people can handle 100g and some people require less than 10. !
What's everyone's take on whether calories "matter or not"? From what I've gathered, metabolism is increased somewhat (because protein consumption increases metabolism?), and there's less hunger due...
