Your stance is pretty normal, kiddo! You can't notice in my videos (supposing that you saw one) but this is the stance that I use. This is the way to put the knees out. :)
I really don't think my bench is strong but my squat is weak. Plus, I have way more experience/time proper benching than squatting (despite have good sized legs).
