hypertrophy isnt limited to just 8 reps, any range of reps (within reason) promotes hypertrophy. your body cant count , it just recognizes stress and adapts to it
there is nothing wrong with bro splits, people are to caught up in trying to make everything optimal. if you enjoy training like a bro do a bro split, if you enjoy full body training do a full body...
