It's hard to say exactly how much "you need" per say, but I had the same problems as you. For me upping fruit helped. Nothing crazy, just made sure to include it with my meals, or in between them....

Eating some extra fruit wouldn't hurt! Though a simple fix would be up your fiber intake!
