Your exactly right. Bodybuilders go through years of cycling bulking then cutting. Because this way it lets you get bigger but stay lean. So you can slowly just add pure muscle mass over the cycle.

My first thing to say would be the 6 days on then one off. Could you possible take a day rest after each 3 workouts, 3 on 1 off repeat or 2 on 1 off repeat. I think you need more rest days in there...
