Good points AC, Im the same way in this regard.
Decline Bench probably has a lot of carry over for powerlifters because it forces you to tuck your elbows and squeeze your lats, so Im not surprised it helps so much

Very true. My brain has a dichotomy, one part rational and intelligent, and one part emotional and disordered. I just never seem to listen to the correct part when dealing with my own situation :o
I would agree for the most part, but you could make the argument that one's somatotype is somewhat indicative of their metabolic efficiency, example being ectomorphs are generally highly insulin...
I notice Ive been sweating quite a bit more when taking the glyco-energy powder, not necessarily indicative of fat-loss but a positive effect regardless

Also a weird correlation is that those squatting with bish pads are often the one's doing 1/8th reps.

After sufficient time of reverse dieting you'll notice weight comes off easier, and I'd make the refeeds a routine occurrence when you do cut again
