My squat and deadlift both went up when I started adding in more direct glute work. Heavy loads, low-med volume. My lordosis has also significantly improved.
I actually thought that it was a better idea personally. It was more for the spotters and loaders than anything, because it's a hell of a lot easier...
Just thought I would update on my meet yesterday. Totaled 820 really easily (had a lot more in me for sure) and won the overall. I have a good shot at 890@132 at the Arnold.
Love them. My bench isn't anything spectacular, but I think they definitely helped since I started adding them in regularly. My triceps are much stronger now.
