Try shaving across the grain in both directions. Sometimes this is just as good as against the grain but without the razor burn.

It can work "fine", but I think most people traditional wet shave to get a better shave than just fine. You'll notice a big difference using cream and a brush and building up a lather.

One thing I have learned about losing weight is that it's so important to be consistent, with diet and working out. I went from 215 down to 178 now back at 205 but I'm on my way back to the 170's.
